The new Whalebone Laminate from Floer
Whalebone was previously only known in the form of PVC floors, but is now also available in the form of laminate. A completely new phenomenon on the market that makes the so popular Whalebone, also known as Herringbone XL, available for everyone to lay themselves. After all, this is much faster with laminate than with Paste PVC.
Laying whalebone yourself? Cinch!
The biggest advantage of Whalebone laminate compared to the Whalebone PVC versions is that almost everyone can lay the Whalebone laminate relatively easily themselves. No more expensive labor to get such a beautiful floor in the house, who wouldn't want that?! The whalebone laminate boards are equipped with a Fastclick connection which ensures that the floors can be clicked together without too much effort. In principle, the Whalebone laminate floors can be laid the same as, for example, the herringbone laminate floors. For these herringbone laminate floors, we previously wrote a manual about how you can easily install them yourself. You also have to go through these steps for the whalebone laminate.
Quality is of paramount importance
At Floer they are so sure of the quality of their whalebone laminate floors that they dare to release a lifetime manufacturer's warranty on it themselves. Of course, the laying conditions from Floer must be met for this. In addition, these laminate floors have a use class AC4 and are therefore suitable for intensive domestic use. The whalebone planks are also provided with a water-resistant coating so that they can also be used in the damp rooms in the house. In fact, this type of flooring can withstand standing water for an hour. Incidentally, this does not mean that you can use these floorboards as a wall for a swimming pool (haha). Would you prefer a whalebone pattern floor that is even more resistant to water? Then the PVC Whalebone floors are what we recommend to you.
