Which subfloor for Floer Whalebone Laminate?
Of course, a good laminate floor cannot do without a suitable subfloor for the specific situation. For the Floer Whalebone Laminate, we always recommend the Floer Contactless Underlay PU Rubber. This floor has a good combination of high compressive strength and reduction of any walking noise. Compressive strength is important for such a floor because the many connections need to be well supported. However, if there are unevennesses on the subfloor that this underlay cannot compensate for, then we recommend a thicker underlay that can compensate more.
