Productomschrijving
Marathon Super® consists of a hard MDF top layer with a soft XPS bottom layer. The soft bottom layer levels out unevenness up to 2 mm, thereby contributing to a perfect appearance of the resilient vinyl to be laid.
The hard top layer prevents indentations from chair legs, stiletto heels, and other objects. This ensures that the visual appearance is not disturbed by permanent indentations, which can occur when only a softboard product is used.
Marathon Super® achieves 10 dB in combination with resilient vinyl or click PVC. This improvement was obtained on a concrete floor with an attached screed. Marathon Super® carries the NSG quality mark.
Marathon Super® is not suitable for direct bonding.
Application
Stabilizing and impact sound-reducing underlay for resilient vinyl and click PVC. On wooden structural floors, the sound reduction is different.
