How to install Akupanel 60x60?

With the right installation, you will get the most out of the aesthetics and functionality of Solza's Akupanel Wall Tiles. Follow these simple steps for effortless and durable attachment:

Step 1: Preparing the wall

Ensure that the wall on which you want to install the Akupanel Wall Tiles is clean, dry, and free of dust and dirt. Remove any nails or screws that are still on the surface. This ensures good adhesion and a professional finish.

Step 2: Measuring the dimensions of the wall

Measure the wall and determine the place where you want to attach the Akupanel Wall Tiles. Mark the desired height and width with light pencil lines to guide you when placing the panels.

Step 3: Customizing the wall tiles

If necessary, you can customize the Akupanel Wall Tiles to perfectly match the dimensions of your wall. Use a circular saw and a knife to make precise cuts. Measure carefully and saw the panel according to the marked dimensions.

Step 4: Attaching the panel

For a firm and secure attachment, there are two options: using adhesive or screws. We recommend using our black chipboard screws for the best results. Place the screws through the black PET material of the tiles. Thanks to the black head of the screws, they are barely noticeable in the panels.

Adhesive: Apply adhesive to the back of the panel and press it firmly against the marked place on the wall. Make sure the panel is placed straight and evenly. Hold the panel firmly in place for a few minutes to ensure good adhesion.
Screws: Use 15 screws for wall mounting, divided into 3 rows of 5 screws each. For ceiling mounting, we recommend 25 screws, divided into 5 rows of 5 screws each, for maximum stability. Make sure the screws are evenly distributed and tightened securely.

Important: If you choose to attach panels to the ceiling, we strongly advise against using adhesive. Instead, always opt for screws.
