Are you considering the purchase of a new floor and do you have ceramic parquet in mind for this? Then costs are of course an important element in making your choice. In this blog we give you insight into the costs involved in the purchase of ceramic parquet. How much does ceramic parquet? Is ceramic parquet expensive? And what additional costs do you have to take into account? We will answer all these questions for you. It's that easy!

How much does ceramic parquet cost?

On average, you can purchase ceramic floor tiles (with wood look) at a price that varies approximately from 40 euros per m2 to 70 euros per m2. Of course, you have a lot of influence on which price will apply to you. In general, a difference in price has to do with whether it concerns common dimensions or not, how much material and labor is needed for production and similar elements.

Is ceramic parquet expensive?

Whether ceramic parquet is expensive may differ in each person's opinion. When you choose a ceramic parquet floor, you know that you are making an investment for the longer term. After all, these are completely different floors than a cheap vinyl floor on a roll. You want to do this for a long time and the quality of these tiles is therefore focused on this. Do you want real high quality? Then pay attention to whether the tiles are rectified and how often a drawing repeats itself on a tile.

Costs for laying service

However, with the costs for only the floor tiles themselves, you are not quite there yet. Unless you want to lay the floor yourself, there are also costs for labor and materials that are needed for laying the floorboards. We generally recommend (rough estimate) that the labour will be about the same price as the m2 price of the ceramic floor tiles. Do you take ceramic tiles with wood look and a straight strip? Then, for example, the costs for labor will be a lot less than with ceramic parquet herringbone.
